On September 11, 2001, thousands of innocent Americans
died because of a terror attack on our country. Let us remember them today, and let us also honor first responders across the United States for their dedication to protecting us when crisis occurs, as well as the many Americans who serve in our nation's military—many of whom enlisted as a response to the 9/11 attacks. Finally, let us reunite in our commitment to support efforts to preserve freedom and end hatred, ignorance, and intolerance. Please join me and citizens across our state and nation in a minute of silence on this day of commemoration.
