Brazosport ISD strives to ensure that all students are future ready. For many students, the future will include post-secondary education at a college, university, or trade school. Preparation and experience with entrance exams is crucial for postsecondary success. Please review the information below to learn more about the opportunities and offerings that our district provides.
2019-20 Brazosport ISD Funded Opportunities
For the 2019-20 school year, Brazosport ISD is fortunate to be able to provide our students with multiple opportunities to take post-secondary readiness exams free of charge.
- All 8th graders have the opportunity to take the PSAT 8 in the fall free of charge.
- All 10th graders have the opportunity to take the PSAT 10 in the fall free of charge.

The Advanced Placement exam can qualify students to receive college credit, depending on the university or college they plan to attend. Students who sign up to take an exam and then cancel will be responsible for the $40 cancellation fee.
