Caps for Kids 11/8/2019
Posted on 11/04/2019
Dear Parents and Teachers,
This year our school is teaming up with Caps For Kids, a national nonprofit organization that puts
smiles on the faces of children with cancer by providing them with a ball cap autographed by their
favorite athlete, actor, singer or other notable person of their choice.
To a child who loses their hair as a result of cancer treatment, a cap signed by their hero gives them
strength. It fills them with courage. It makes them feel special. Many kids tell us it’s as though their
celebrity cap hero is right there beside them in every treatment, rooting for them.
All students and faculty will be encouraged to participate in Caps For Kids’ upcoming Cap Day event, taking place on November 8, 2019.
On Cap Day, students and faculty have the opportunity to wear their favorite caps to school in
return for donating $1.
100% of the money raised benefits Caps For Kids.
Cap Day is a fun and engaging way for our students and staff to give back to the community. A simple
donation helps to create smiles for children with cancer. For additional information about Caps For
Kids, please visit capsforkids.org.
Thank you!
